The proceedings of the VIII Soil Science Conference present a selection of scientific papers developed by researchers, academics, and professionals, focusing on the study and sustainable management of edaphic resources. Organized by the Biochemical Research Laboratory of Soils and the Environment (LIBSA), the event centered around the theme "Regenerative Agriculture and Agroecology." This eighth edition addressed four key areas: 1) Principles and practices of regenerative agriculture and agroecology; 2) Organic fertilization and sustainability; 3) Technologies for soil and crop improvement; and 4) Integrated pest and disease management. Throughout the conference, both theoretical principles and practical applications of these disciplines were explored, with a special emphasis on the responsible management of soils and crops to ensure their long-term conservation and productivity. This publication serves as a contribution to the exchange of knowledge, promoting responsible agricultural and environmental practices aimed at optimizing soil functionality and ensuring its sustainability.
